Now i understand why Deliveroo has such a poor rating. Signed up their subscription plan for free delivery for one month.. terrible, food delivery always delayed and never has been on time... NO MORE..
Very poor service. Due to lack of riders, I’ve experienced last minute cancellations 3 times in a row with no explanation given. Today I ordered from Starbucks and again it got cancelled without reason. When I asked them why they said could be due to lack of ingredients. I went to Starbucks to check for myself and Starbucks had all the items I ordered! And my KFC order was mixed up. They delivered a wrong order to me and I had to wait for an additional 45mins while they re-ordered.
I have been a deliveroo fan but this latest incident changed all that. Ordered a meal last night for today lunch since WFH with conf calls. However got confirmation email that meal is coming the next day! I clearly ordered before 12 midnight. I thought okay just cancel and reorder - but sadly the website and app conveniently stated Unfortunately theres been a problem. each time! No number to call and no emails back. Now I know why ratings so low...
Guys, Deliveroo has gone downhill last few months. Do not order. My last few orders were delivered 2 hours (!!!!) after the due time sometime not at all and with zero customer support. You have been warned. Use Grab.
