Wonderful and affable service. Cute cosy ambience, with colourful lanterns for lamps. Food was good and innovative in a fusion kind of way. The team cleverly delighted my dining party with a free slice of cake (or two!) to end the evening.And yes, you do get a fortune cookie at the end of dinner. Some even have neat Malay proverbs in them!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice before. It serves generous portions of food and the food is great. That’s the reason I am back for the third time. Though this time I am let down by a very slow serving of food. It’s more than an hour of wait if you have the patience.
Very disappointed with many things today at TFC - 17 July 2021, 4.30 - 6.30pm. Kinda regret choosing this place for my birthday dinner. But everything happens for a reason. Anyways heres my feedback:1. Servers:-we waited more than 15mins to order. No one gave us with menu when there were only 3 other groups of customers which were also not served. But its ok, we took the ones at reception ourselves.- looked down on their phones as they walked past the tables, so it was hard to get their attention for anything. We had to walk to the counter to ask for serviettes or cutlery.- did not inform us that waiting time will be long. Mains took 40-50mins to arrive.2. Food- appetiser : cheesy dumpling. Extremely overpriced for frozen shrimps fillings. For $18 id expect fresh shrimps.- mains/pasta: kobe fried rice was good and the portion was big. The sweet&sour chicken AO was ok, but portion was average.- nothing complementary. The servers only started to give complementary dishes to the ones that came after us.Query:Wheres manager at this point?Did the kitchen receive too many delivery/takeaway orders? (thats fine, and thats great for business) but why wasnt there directives for the servers to inform customers abt the waiting time. To me thats just plain disrespectful for our time. And poor management and culture of service. Do consider kitchen break also, so that the cooks and staff can have a breather.When we made payment, there was no apology no asking hows things, no service recovery. He gave us $20 discount for next visit. Sorry, you cant buy loyalty with money all the time.So in summary, look into:Kitchen and staff management, service culture, service recovery.All the best TFC!
